Live life in full color

Hope you all had a great weekend? Mine was such fun, I celebrated my birthday on friday and saturday :) Met up with some friends and family, which was really nice!
Now working again at Supertrash, 1 month to go and I am finished with my internship there. Time goes by so fast!

Niu Jie Mosque, Masjid Tertua di Bejing

Masjid ini berdiri tahun 996 dan dibangun oleh dua imam Persia yang saat itu datang ke China. Masjid ini banyak dikunjungi oleh kaum muslim dari manca negara termasuk Indonesia



Masjid ini berdiri tahun 996 dan dibangun oleh dua imam Persia yang saat itu datang ke China. Masjid yang beralamat di Niu Jie 88, Beijing, China menjadi sentral sekitar 200 ribu umat muslim.



Masjid tua yang dari luar tampak sangat mirip kuil Buddha ini menempati lahan lebih dari 6 ribu meter persegi. Di dalam komplek masjid terdapat beberapa bangunan seperti tempat beribadah dan juga sebuah museum.

Meski eksterior masjid tampak sangat kental dengan bangunan China, namun pengunjung akan menemukan nuansa Arab ketika memasuki ruangan beribadah. Untuk melihat-lihat komplek masjid, kaum non muslim wajib membayar tiket masuk namun mereka tidak dapat masuk ke dalam ruang beribadah.

Selain dikenal dengan Niu Jie Mosque, masjid ini juga sering disebut dengan nama Niu Jie Libai Si, Niujie Qingzhen Si Mosque dan Ox Street Mosque. Muslim yang beribadah di masjid ini kebanyakan dari Muslim Suni.



Hingga kini, masjid Niu Jie masih dipergunakan meski telah masuk menjadi salah satu bangunan yang dilindungi oleh pemerintah China.

Crossing Antarctica on Aerosleighs

A high-speed run across Antarctica was made by a team of 10 people, who moved on these not quite conventional vehicles. It took them 303 hours to cover the distance of 1209 miles (1945,9 kilometers).
